They murdered his father, now he will murder them... All of them.
Set in a small town, Coleville tells the story of a young black man, who as a boy witnessed his father's brutal murder in a hate-crime, changing him forever. Fueled by his own hatred and an unseen power, he takes over Coleville, exacting revenge on unfortunate whites who begin to disappear one by one. Forcing them into servitude on his plantation, one by one, those he enslaves mysteriously disappear, while the townspeople of Coleville either join him or stand silently by, feeling powerless to stop what they know is going on. Until one day, a young black girl risks herself and her family to save a white man whose train stops in Coleville. Together, they attempt to free those who have been captured and challenge others to stand with them against the oppressive evil that has consumed the town. Their willingness to stand together against seemingly overwhelming odds is set against a background of references to past and present racism and special effects that symbolically reflect the uncontrollable power of hate. While on the surface, Coleville is a thriller with touches of humor and romance, its message goes far deeper.
