A struggling motel owner and her daughter are taken hostage by a nearly blind career criminal to be his eyes as he attempts to retrieve his cash package from a crooked cop.

In Greene County, NY, the young widow Chloe runs a side road motel, where she lives with her daughter Sophia. A social worker visits her to tell that that environment, with prostitutes and drugs, is not adequate to raise Sophia, but Chloe cannot afford to move to a house. Meanwhile, the criminals "Topo" Topolewski, who is almost blind, and his driver and nephew Quincy, are traveling to Montreal in a Jeep. When they pass through Greene County, Quincy asks to stop at the motel since his tired and Topo agrees. During the night, Quincy brings a prostitute to his room, has an argument with her and they kill each other. The corrupt police officer Billy, who was a friend of Chloe's husband Vincent and had an affair with her after his death, handles the investigation and tows the Jeep to the police station. Soon Topo abducts Chloe and Sophia to force her to find something hidden behind the panel in the Jeep, but she does not find anything. Soon she learns that it is a bag of money and Billy probably has found it. Now Chloe needs to help Topo to retrieve the money to save her life.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
