Texas Ranger Tim Strong (Tim McCoy) resigns when he finds out his own brother, Jack Strong (Rex Lease), is a member of the notorious outlaw gang led by Blackie Miller (Wheeler Oakman), that the Rangers have sworn to bring to justice. Tim goes to the town of Bayliss in search of his brother, and there promises to help Sheriff Dave Sage (Frank LaRue), father of the girl, Anne Sage (Judith Ford), that Tim loves. The gang robs the town bank and Tim chases them, only to find Jack with the loot. On Jack's promise to reform, Tim takes the rap and is sent to prison.
