The "Doctor Helicopter" system, legalized in Japan in June 2007, dispatches medical teams via helicopter to provide immediate care. Four young physicians are assigned to the system, where they face traumatic medical cases, confront personal ambitions, and witness the fragility of life, ultimately growing both professionally and personally.
