Cherie Laurent starts with retrospection of past topics such as Rape, Domestic violence, Women's Cancers, Sex slavery, Women's freedom, Bullying, and Suicide. Cherie uses art to tell these stories to help us have retrospection of these important issues. Cherie now helps us to understand, care and be aware of Global Warming. She helps us to think how it should concern us, our health, our families, and she shows us some powerful images to help us to appreciate how it's our responsibility to make personal changes. Cherie also takes us on a journey to her personal past; starting from her home in Iraq, to when she ran away to Jordan and stayed for 4 years. After that she found a job in Dubai as an Art Director for an advertising agency, where she explains her role and responsibilities there. Continuing her life journey with us, she was exposed to a modeling agency in Dubai which was the beginning of her modeling career. She then applied for immigration to New Zealand as she had a B.Sc. in computer science and a degree in Graphic Design and wanted to chase a new dream. A New Zealand brochure held out promising hopes and dreams. Arriving at her destination and searching for a better life; Cherie got a position at a modeling agency and got cast in commercials and was also used on billboard advertising. It is a powerful and emotional journey that you don't want to miss.
