Summaries

CLAP is the school where childhood friends Valentina, Montserrat, and Helena go to study, hoping to become great artists someday.

CLAP stands for "el Comité de la Escuela de Artes", the Art School. It was founded by retired actress Ofelia because long time ago she didn't support her own daughter when she wanted to follow in her footsteps; now she's trying to correct this mistake by supporting young talent. This year, childhood friends Valentinna, Montserrat, and Helena have come to CLAP, although Helena's mother is against it. Montserrat's brother Tomas, who is in love with Helena, goes with them. In Mexico City they meet Fabricio, who lives in the same hotel and wants to study at CLAP; he never talks about his past or parents. There is also Juan Pablo, who has lived with Padre Constantino since he was abandoned in the church; he directs the church choir, and he will fall in love with Valentina. There are many other personages and students of CLAP. This is basically another teen novela about their problems, love, and friendship.—Alma Latina
