Weekly adventures of hard-boiled '30s detective Jake Axminster.

Long ago, Los Angeles, California was nicknamed the "City of Angels" since it was believed to be the last honest city in America. Not so for private detective Jake Axminster, who operates out of L.A. during the '30s, and will take almost any case as long as it pays. Frequently pushing the ethical envelope in following leads and slapping around witnesses, Jake frequently calls upon his lawyer Michael Brimm and his police contact Lt. Quint for assistance. Dizzy blonde Marsha is his secretary; she also operates an escort service out of Jake's office.—Marty McKee <[email protected]>
