The story of the circus family Bohlin.

The famous circus family Bohlin has one boss, Magnus Bohlin, also called 'Altmeister'. His son Hjalmar has a daughter, Karin, who is tightrope-dancer, and a son, Ernst, as well as a sister, Olivia, also called 'Olle', who lives on romantic circus memories from his youth. In the circus there is also a clown trio consisting of brothers Georg and Hasse Jansson and Maurice Dupont. Hasse falls in love with the attractive Karin, which causes a conflict within the trio, especially with his brother Georg. Hasse abandons the trio and marries Karin and they get a son Alfred. The couple creates their own artist act - a combined clown and dance number. With this, they travel in Europe and visit various international varieties.—Ulf Kjell Gür
