Cikgu VS Hantu tells the story of the enmity between Cikgu Daud (Dato' Afdlin Shauki) and Cikgu Samad (Khir Rahman) in seizing the position of principal of Bijak Bestari National High School. Whoever between the two of them succeeds in bringing funds of RM20,000 is immediately eligible to replace Cikgu Ahmad as principal. While Cikgu Daud was looking for an idea to rent some places in the school to the public, Cikgu Samad used his influential networking to make a loan. However, the competition has unknowingly brought closer their relationship when the ghosts of Cikgu Syima (Che Puan Juliana Evans) and Ismail (Shuk Sahar) appear.
