Oksana Arkadeva is the owner of a fitness club, a businesslike and extremely conflicted woman. One day she goes to the hospital for an examination, where she meets Vera Kadochnikova, a friend from her youth. Vera is outraged by the attitude of the arrogant and heartless Oksana to the people around her: a sick elderly woman, subordinates and even her own daughter. And after a quarrel, Vera decides to teach her a harsh life lesson. Having recently learned about her fatal diagnosis, Vera deceives her friend and makes her think that Oksana's days are numbered. In addition, the friends soon find themselves on different sides in the fight for the children's boarding school, which Vera runs. And only by trying on someone else's life, going through a difficult path of mistakes and doubts, will the heroine have a chance to change and find true happiness.
