In a village in Yakutia, two incomplete families live across from each other, both without mothers. Timid and unresponsive Ivan is constantly humiliated by his bold and self-assured neighbor, Dima. After Dima beats Ivan in front of his son, the teenager becomes disillusioned with his father and starts spending more time with his bully.
