As soon as Andrey Ilyich Bogolyubov, at the request of the minister himself, assumes the post of director of the museum in a small provincial town, strange things begin to happen around him. The former headmistress suddenly dies right in front of his eyes, his wheels are pierced, threatening notes are thrown at him, they are suspected of trying to close the museum and even try to kill him. It becomes obvious that something inexplicable is happening in the museum. Bogolyubov has to take up the investigation.
