A single parent trying to raise three kids, go to school, and get her family out of the projects finds it hard to save the one child she thought would save the family.
Tracey Goings is forced to accept public housing due to death of her husband, the families primary breadwinner. She looks at this as being a temporary situation and she works during the day and goes to college at night trying to get the family back to where they were before the death of her husband, however life is not always that perfect. Eight years later she is still there and desperate to make a change. Her oldest son Anthony takes matters into his own hands and commits a robbery that influences his younger brother Rodney to attempt the same thing as a way of saving the family. Unfortunately this special child has no idea what the streets are really about. His life and future are shattered with a single gunshot during a home invasion.—David Drew
