Five days before Christmas, Xander Point stands divided on whether their legendary lighthouse will continue to operate. Beloved caretakers, Pastor Ian and his therapist wife, Colleen, are informed by Mayor James that the council voted to demolish the landmark and construct contemporary lodging to attract more visitors to the seaside town. As Colleen prepares to spend her last Christmas at the lighthouse, her best friend, Bree, returns home for the holidays. Troubled about her engagement to Colton and still mourning the loss of her true love, Jacob, whom she believes was killed in action years earlier. Unbeknownst to her, Jacob is alive and in town seeking guidance from Colleen who devises an innocent plan to bring the two together.
