Synopsis

Key (Nadia Saphira) and Citra (Marsha Timothy) are two students sharing a house. Citra has a part-time job in a trendy T-shirt shop and Key is an aspiring actress. Key is called for casting in a TV soap, but realises the producer is only looking for a girl to travel and have dinner with, and probably more. She refuses the producers advances and so has no money for the rent and electricity bills. Their landlady suggests they share the house with two other students she knows who are looking for somewhere to live. The two other students turn out to be two very good looking guys rather than Osama bin Laden and Idi Amin as Citra feared. Key is attracted to one of the guys, Nesta (Nino Fernandez), and daydreams of the two of them getting together and Citra and the other guy, Aldi (Marrio Merdhithia), forming another couple.

Unfortunately, what she doesn't realise is that the guys are a couple. Nesta doesn't want anyone to know he is in a gay relationship, so continually tries to get Aldi to act more masculine. Key makes determined efforts at attracting Nesta, who accepts her attentions, making Aldi jealous. Nesta helps Key get a job as a waitress at a café owned by a friend of his parents', and as time goes by the two become very close and Nesta falls for her. Aldi comes under more and more emotional pressure watching Key and Nesta and remains totally oblivious of Citra's attempts to attract him. The final straw is when Aldi's parents come for a visit and his father tries to persuade him to join the college football (soccer) team. He comes out to his parents, sending his father into an asthma attack. His parents leave. In the morning Aldi tells Nesta what he has done. Aldi is obviously in need of some TLC and Nesta, somewhat reluctantly, obliges. The girls catch them in mid-clinch.

n a showdown between the four of them, Nesta tries to wriggle out of it but Aldi tells the truth about their relationship. Key accuses Nesta of just using her as a cover, and bolts. Nesta follows her, leaving Aldi devastated. Key tells Nesta she never wants to see him again, and Aldi tells Nesta he has ruined everything. Nesta drives aimlessly round Jakarta, remembering scenes with Key. Aldi drifts about ending up at Citra's workplace, where she introduces him to Dani (Fauzi Baadila), the owner of the shop, and then takes him off for a heart-to-heart. Key, Citra, and Aldi become friends, sending Nesta to Coventry but when Nesta comes home drunk one evening, he and Aldi have a talk. Nesta confesses that he always had doubts about his and Aldi's relationship, but he does care about Aldi and will support him in whatever choices he makes in his life. When Nesta tries to achieve a reconciliation with Key, she refuses at first but then comes round just in time to stop him moving out of the house. Citra, and Key and Nesta are next seen at an Ungu concert, and Aldi joins them later with his new boyfriend, Dani.
