In London, England, Linda Terry, an American heiress, runs away with freelance newsreel photographer Dick Stallings when her guardian, Phineas Merrill, attempts to place her in an insane asylum for refusing to marry his nephew. Dick and Linda travel around Europe, photographing famous landmarks and important persons such as Benito Mussolini and the Prince of Wales, with Phineas and his henchmen in pursuit. While Dick is photographing Mt. Vesuvius, Phineas dispatches his men to kidnap Linda. Dick comes to the rescue, Phineas is arrested, and the young lovers return to the U.S. to marry.
