Synopsis

Charlotte is a veteran actress who lives with her young and faithful oriental companion, Lee, an accomplice of the diva's tireless search for fame that she once had, but which today is far from having. While Charlotte's beauty is still intact, the years of life translate into every pore of her skin; as well as the obsessions and follies that were transforming her into the extravagant woman she is today. In spite of the attempts, Charlotte does not manage to return to the screens and little by little she is locked in her old house without knowing how to advance, denying her failure and living in a cardboard world supported by her only faithful companion.When Charlotte learns that a recognized European director with whom she worked in the past travels to her country to make her new film, getting a role in it becomes her next goal.Charlotte sells everything she has, including her home, and takes a trip in a motorhome from the dilapidated seventies to the supposed casting point. But there is nothing there, more than a proposal of advertising spot. Charlotte refuses to be part of this world she abhors, but the only way to achieve her goal is by participating in the publicity, because if she does, the production will provide her with a place in the casting of the film.Charlotte will face her image once again on the screen and it will become clear that she is not what she was years ago. You will also discover how technology can rejuvenate it and turn it into who it is not. Charlotte enters an identity crisis and stops filming. You must choose whether to accept your aging body or deny yourself and transform it completely.Finally she will decide to use technology, but not exactly that way ... She will learn to use this plastic world in her favor, to reinvent her image, managing not to lose her identity and accepting the new Charlotte.
