A hot tempered Californian surf star is sent to Fryeburg Maine for the summer to learn values as a camp counselor.

After being cheated at a crucial surf competition resulting in a violent reprisal, Chase Bennett finds himself a fish out of water at a kids summer camp in Maine, at the command of his sponsor. It is here he is offered the opportunity to re-examine his ways, correct old wrongs, fall in love, and develop a new style of surfing through wake boarding. Just when he thinks his career is all but over and about to step into the world of coaching he receives a wild card into the final event, a second chance.—MP
