Summaries

'Changing the Truth' focuses on an orphanage in Uganda, and the children who have lost their families due to HIV/Aids and to the war in Northern Uganda. This documentary shows the work of a group of American volunteers as they provide medical assistance, help the children build a sustainable garden, and develop a marching band. Through art and play therapy, friendship and love, the film ultimately shows the resiliency of these children, and how a small group of people can really make a difference in the lives of 180 orphaned children.—Anonymous
