Three teams. Three continents. A World Cup to save lives.

CHANGING THE GAME documents the World Cup's inaugural Football for Hope Festival through the journey of three representative teams: the Peace Team uniting Israeli and Palestinian teens, Team USA combating gang violence, and Team South Africa fighting a ravaging AIDS epidemic. Separated by language, culture, and thousands of miles, these teens are bound by their love of soccer and their goal for a better future. At home and throughout the festival, the sport becomes a metaphor to fight life's battles: emphasizing the spirit of teamwork over rivalry, communication over confrontation, fair play and sportsmanship over victory at any cost. But under the intense spotlight of international competition, the drive to win threatens these ideals, and the metaphor begins to fall apart.
