Mohan and Yamuna fall in love with each other and get married. However, their marriage hits troubled waters after Mohan confesses that he unexpectedly cheated on her with one of her friends.

It's a story of infidelity, that Mohan (Jayaram) fell accidentally in an extra marital affair with a friend of Yamuna (Urvashi) who was a widow. Mohan couldn't stand the sin he has committed and he confessed what has happened in his life to his wife which she couldn't forgive leads to a permanent separation. The story further proceeds with the meeting after very long years when Mohan got transferred to the same office where Yamuna works.—anoopj226
