A prince plight in order to save his princess from the clinches of a demonic minister.

Prince Udayasuriyan (M.G.R) wins all tough competition to marry Princess Kalamani (Anjali Devi). Durga (S. Varalaxmi) and Bhairavan (P.S. Veerappa) plot to ruin their lives. Durga plans to take the queen place in order to live with Udayasuriyan while Bhairavan abduct Kalamani from the palace. The rest of the movie deals with Udayasduriyan foiling his enemies plan in order to save the princess.—Srinath S
