Kaltoum is a 15-year-old girl who is forced to work in a nightclub in Casablanca, Morocco to pay for a medical operation for her little brother. to her dismay she discovers the cruel world, that of the city's nightlife.

Casablanca by night is a delightful movie exploring the truth of life's night that most of poor women who have to sell their bodies for living. Kalthoum is a teenager girl who finds herself in prostitution, which isn't strange to her environment. All the the surroundings women are prostitutes. The plot doesn't only sheds light on the characters but also the events that Morocco has faced at nearly 2003 times by giving examples of group of teenagers who are interested to listen to different kinds of music which seems to be weird for the religious community as a result arresting those youths and destroying their lives. This drama has been annoyed many people in Morocco because it sheds light on taboos like prostitution and terrorism in Morocco.—asmaalaared
