After a long time in the Army, an African-American soldier returns to his hometown, where, years ago, his brother was executed for the rape and murder of two white girls. In the late 60's, James Bragg, a (black) Army man who goes home to see his dying mother. And when he sees her, her dying wish is that James prove the innocence of his brother, Linus who was executed 30 years ago for killing two girls which she says he didn't do. Bragg starts looking into things and finds several inconsistencies and that his brother was not treated fairly. He crosses paths with the Sheriff who is the son of the Sheriff who arrested his brother. And Bragg wonders if he's going to help him.—[email protected]
