Carl & Bertha tells the story of Carl and Bertha Benz. Carl Benz invented the first patented motor car but he did not get much recognition until his wife undertook the historic first road trip by car from Mannheim to Pforzheim with the Benz Patent-Motorwagen No. 3 in August 1888.
