A new series of videos sponsored by the ISTAT Foundation provide an up-close-and-personal view into the world of aviation professions. The "Careers in Aviation" videos program is an effort through ISTAT Foundation grants to promote awareness of aviation education and career opportunities. Each video highlights a personal story in a specific field of aviation, which gives young people a real-life example of aviation careers. The videos were created in partnership with the EAA Young Eagles Program, an organization that fosters knowledge of and interest in aviation through giving young people an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. Production assistance in the creation of these videos is provided by Live AirShow TV. Aviation professionals are encouraged to showcase these videos when speaking to schools, local organizations and other educational groups.
