"Captain Space" was a hosted horror movie show with Dave DeWitt as "Captain Space" presenting movies on Saturday nights around midnight for KOAT-TV, Channel 7, Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1975-1976. The Captain was assisted by Wayne Scheiner who played Rusty the Robot. The Captain was supposedly an alien who arrived on earth in an egg-shaped craft. The insignia on the chest of his spacesuit was a cracked egg with a lightning bolt coming out of it.—The Professor
