An animated adaptation of a British science fiction comedy radio serial, created and primarily written by Kenny Everett. The setting is the early 21st century. Captain Elvis Brandenburg Kremmen is a British spaceship captain from Liverpool, serving in the Star Corps. He is a cyborg with bionic veins, and a bionic left foot. That foot's left toe turns converts into a detachable space cannon. Kremmen's supporting cast includes his blonde lover and co-worker Carla and the dwarf-like German scientist Dr. Heinrich von Gitfinger. Kremmen's recurring foes include several races of aliens, inclunding the Thargoids (who drain the knowledge of other beings), the Krells (who have multiple heads), and the Sun-Suckers (a race requiring solar energy to survive, and proceed to steal the energy from the Sun).—Dimos I
