Space traveler Captain Cosmic and his robot pal 2T2 present a variety of Asian fantasy children's shows.
In 1977, Wilkins launched an afternoon children's program on KTVU, Captain Cosmic, which showcased science fictional serials such as Spectreman, The Space Giants, Ultraman, Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot, and Star Blazers. The main focus were Japanese shows, and also showed old Hollywood serials such as Flash Gordon and Gerry Anderson's Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. Captain Cosmic's sidekick on the show was a cable-controlled automaton, named "Wonder Robot 2T2". The show ended in 1982.—The Professor
