An American father decides to send his teenaged daughter to the Soviet Republic of Estonia, where his sister still lives. He apparently wants his daughter to see what life is like in a communist country. While there, she not only sees the hardships faced by the citizens, but also joins an anti-Soviet resistance group, after falling in love with one of the leaders.
