Switching between their beginning and end, Mackenzie (Madison McLaughlin) a young support counselor has dreams of being a successful therapist and writer. Ethan (Henry Parker) is an older aspiring filmmaker who finds his home to be where can lay his head. Both come from on the surface loving families, but are broken apart by internal, external, and previous pain from their lives.
