This fourth Cagney and Lacey reunion movie has New York City police detectives Christine Cagney (Sharon Gless) and Mary Beth Lacey (Tyne Daly) coming face to face with their true feelings about capital punishment when they're assigned to the city's first capital murder case in 10 years.
