Forced to return home after an assassination attempt on his parents, Anthony Desva must run the cocoa family business ,and face both his father and his father's enemies.

The Desva and the Ahitey are two rival families, fighting for the control of cocoa trade in the Caodji region. Each family is headed by unscrupulous patriarchs : the influential and wealthy Elie Desva from the Ivorian cocoa aristocracy, and the crude and wild self-made man, Jean Ahitey.
