Story based on Non Government worker Rimita who worked in a Private Hospital . She falls in love with French National but before they can enter into matrimony, She dies in a midnight fire incident in the Hospital. Admitting that the AMRI fire in 2011 was the catalyst of the film's story, Director Kajal Choudhury relates, "I happened to be in Kolkata at the time and couldn't stop myself from visiting the spot. It was a traumatic experience for the patients' families and the tragedy kept haunting me for months. I have been planning to make a film in the backdrop of the fire ever since."—kajal choudhury
