The semi-documentary film BURMA ALL INCLUSIVE describes the situation in a country which has, as a result of its political situation, for a long time been isolated, but which is now opening up to tourism. Through a fictitious "All inclusive journey" it sheds light on the country from all possible and impossible perspectives. Western tourist behavior meets with the harsh reality of everyday Burmese life. Hardly anyone dares to criticize the regime in Burma, the fear of prosecution, torture and arrest is too great. For this reason, with a few exceptions, the interviewees preferred to remain anonymous or were replaced by imaginary figures that enact real circumstances in a fictitious story. It is the search for the truth: the film brings another take on "All inclusive".—Roland Wehap
