In 2012, a video game company and a British farmer join forces on an expedition to recover a cache of Spitfire aircraft reportedly buried in Burma at the end of WWII. The press declares it the search for 'aviation's holy grail' and vows to be there when the planes emerge. If the expedition is successful, it will mean accolades for the company and glory for the farmer, who has spent a quarter of his life chasing the planes. But as the true color of his obsession emerges, it's clear that this will be no simple recovery mission. Instead, the ill-fated journey becomes a farce, in which shovels and spades battle delusion -- and deceit.
