Summaries

In the summer of 1980 a gambler decides to get revenge on a casino through an extortion plot using one of the most complicated bombs in history.

After losing hundreds of thousands to casinos in Stateline, NV - near the beautiful Lake Tahoe - a gambler decides to get what he feels is owed by building a bomb. After stealing dynamite from a power plant he builds what would become one of the most complicated bombs in history and extorted Harvey's of Lake Tahoe for $3 million. What followed was 48 hours of panic, evacuations, and a comedy of errors as the bombers bungled the delivery of the money. A year-long investigation led to the arrest of a Hungarian ex-pat, a plot for a second bomb, and one of the craziest stories of bombing and extortion in US history. It is a bombing that changed how bomb investigations and casino security operated from that day on.—Dave Manoucheri, Producer/Director

In the summer of 1980, two men wheeled what looked like an IBM computer into a Lake Tahoe casino. The events that followed rocked the industry, baffled bomb technicians, and changed the lives of a criminal's and a casino magnate's family forever.
