Nino emigrated to Switzerland and is a waiter. He is happy with what he considers his new home, but the Italians in Switzerland are not well seen and it is a bad day when Nino is removed from the seasonal residence permit. However, he decides to remain in the country as a clandestine. Then he meets an Italian industrialist who helps him, but the help will not last long. In order to overcome the prejudice of the Swiss, he disguises himself as one of them, only to make matters worse. Eventually, after obtaining the desired permission, Nino will decide to return to Italy.—Baldinotto da Pistoia
