"If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere". "Brain Fest" is an up close and personal look into the journey of four teenagers from The South Bronx. After graduating high school, while navigating the pitfalls of the treacherous New York City streets, the group finds light at the end of the tunnel, four hours south in DC. When Bobbi and Kotto enroll at Howard University for the fall semester, they start throwing parties to make some quick cash. As the parties start to gain more and more popularity, Bobbi and Kotto enlist the help of their other two friends from the neighborhood, Raheem and Los. What starts off as an easy, quick money scheme, soon turns into more than the guys bargained for.—Wali Burgos
