A Heartwarming story of love and forgiveness against the back-drop of stock car racing.

A Heartwarming story of love and forgiveness against the back-drop of stock car racing. Amid the roar of engines, wailing sirens and smell of burning oil, five-year-old Justin Freeman watches as the paramedics pulls his mother from the wreckage. Jessie Freeman dies from her injuries, taking the name of her son's father with her to her grave. The astigmatism of his illegitimacy, learning disabilities and poverty only add to Justin's confusion and pain. It was the love of racing that flowed through his grandfather's and mother's veins and pulses within Justin that gives the growing boy a sense of purpose and pride. When Justin learns that his ailing grandfather is losing the farm, the boy is determined to enter the Fourth of July Outlaw Stockcar Race and win the $10,000 prize to save it. But when is one really a winner? Justin learns it doesn't always mean reaching the finish line first.
