BORN TO LOSE is a portrait of the living psych rock legend, Lorenzo Woodrose, who lives and breathes music, with all the ups and downs of the rock'n'roll lifestyle over the last 20 years. From being a nobody in the suburbs who suddenly realised (after tripping on nitrous oxide at the dentist) that he could play music by ear, and working in the local bar on week days to pay the rent, he went on to headline Roskilde Festival, going on worldwide tours, and on to winning the Danish Music Awards as best live band - and then back again to the mental gutter. BORN TO LOSE follows Lorenzo's journey with his bands Spidsnøgenhat, Baby Woodrose and Dragontears, as he flies high on beers, mushrooms or simply on the power of music. This music documentary is the debut feature by Danish director Palle Demant and it is produced by KILLIT FILMS (Grandma Lo-fi, Kidd Life).
