When an unknown object from space lands on Earth, Bramble gains new abilities and an extraterrestrial sidekick.
A mysterious alien named Avi arrives in Pine Tree Mountain and befriends Bramble. Bramble gradually learns that Avi's people, the Rhyot, originated from Earth. Millions of years ago, a highly developed Rhyotan civilization thrived to the detriment of Earth's environment. In the end, the Rhyotans had to flee their home planet. When Avi leads Bramble to the ancient relics of his people, a high-tech human army using all sorts of weapons attacks them both. What's the purpose of Avi's trip back to Earth? The movie opens with Bramble daydreaming of being a hero at Pine Tree Mountain. He then heads over to Vick's house to get some food, but on the way a mass of metal falls from the sky. Bramble curiously approaches the debris and accidentally inhales a cloud of unknown gas (which is called original core). Frightened and in a state of panic, Bramble stumbles upon an alien-looking creature who then refuses to leave his side. The creature says his name is Abu and claims that Bramble just inhaled the energy core needed to run his spaceship. Now, Bramble will have to use the core within him to help Abu find his spaceship. In order to make Bramble cooperate, Abu causes trouble for him on purpose and creates a mess at Pine Tree Mountain. Thanks to this chaos, a misunderstanding between Bramble and his friends occurs, disrupting Bramble's once peaceful life.
Minions of evil villains, Mr and Mrs Niu, launch a surprise attack on Pine Tree Mountain. Bramble flees in panic. Although Abu drives them away, Bramble realizes danger is still imminent. It turns out that Mr. Niu, who is a business tycoon, and his wife have been coveting Abu's hi-tech treasure, the Tian Qi, for a long time. The longer Abu stays at Pine Tree Mountain, the more danger Briar and other animals will be in. For the safety of his family and friends, Bramble agrees to offer his help to Abu and the pair embark on a journey together.
Along the way, they are chased by the Nius, Abu teaches Bramble how to control the spaceship using the Original Core, they defeat the villains multiple times, Bramble gradually becomes a powerful fighter and we find out what Abu has been through.Abu comes from an ancient high-tech civilization on earth. Due to environmental damage caused by the over-exploitation of resources, the civilization was forced to seal up the Antarctic base they called home and flee into space. Finding a new place to live was not easy. After being sucked into a terrifying wormhole, their ship exploded and only a few managed to escape. Everyone's whereabouts is a mystery, including Abu's parents. Upon returning to earth alone after several years of wandering space, Abu discovered that two million years had passed. He is now determined to return to the Antarctic base to light up the beacon and transmit a signal, guiding those who survived back home. He doesn't want to give up any hope of reuniting with his family, no matter how small it is. Bramble is deeply touched by Abu's story.
The villainous Nius capture and brainwash Briar, Tiki and Babu. This causes them to misunderstand the situation entirely. They think that Abu is the evil one, believing that he has kidnapped Bramble and is trying to con him. To save Bramble from Abu, Briar and Vick join forces with the villains and they all head out to the Antarctic Pole together.Bramble and Abu reach the Antarctic Pole to find the villains' minions already on guard. Bramble behaves like true warrior, sweeping all obstacles out of the way and heading straight for the gate of Abu's homeland. Abu and Bramble enter the ancient world together.
Everything in Abu's homeland is as it was before he left. The familiar sight stirs up old memories for Abu and just as he becomes emotional, villains suddenly burst in and head straight for the Tian Qi. It turns out the villains had purposefully allowed Bramble and Abu to enter the base with Mrs Niu's mechanical beetles attached to the bottom of their spaceship. Not only did the beetles track their location, they also deactivated the security system.
The villains destroy buildings and make their way inside the base. Anxiously, Abu tells Bramble that the Tian Qi has enormous power that ordinary people cannot control. If the villains get their hands on the Tian Qi, the whole world will be in danger. To avoid such a disaster, Bramble goes with Abu to stop the villains. On the way, Briar and Vick show up to save Bramble. As the bear brothers reunite, they resolve their earlier misunderstanding while Abu continues with his mission. Without Bramble's help, Abu is overpowered by Tycoon Niu and his wife. The villains seize the opportunity to activate the Tian Qi while Abu tries in vain to persuade them to stop. We discover that Mrs. Niu had a miserable childhood. She was mistreated when she was young, so feels she has a point to prove as an adult. She will never give up the treasure she spent so much effort getting. She manages to gain access to the Tian Qi despite the obstacles. As Abu predicted, the situation spirals out of control.
Mrs. Niu is knocked unconscious and the Tian Qi begins to wreak havoc. It attacks everything in sight putting everyone in danger. With encouragement from Briar, Bramble overcomes his fear and stands up to fight just as time is running out. The gang and Abu work together to fend off the villains who are controlling the Tian Qi. Bramble uses the fighting skills Abu taught him and becomes seemingly invincible. Controlling the spaceship, he defeats the villains while saving his friends and family. The beacon begins to glow which sparks hope for Abu and his family to return home.
