A myriad of conflicts and cynicism soon engulfs an impoverished paradise after a dying American tourist stumbles upon a unique creature with plant and animal characteristics. His edgy and heroic act seems to be the only thing that will stand in the way of the marauding invaders from decimating the amicable new species.
