An old man and his sidekick attempt to capture footage of a mysterious creature to surpass their young neighbors' popularity on social networks.

Otto, a scientist-amateur, studies the local fauna by molding footprints and publishes his work on his web video channel with the help of Jean-Marie, an has-been media technician. When a group of young adults arrive at the nearby campsite, attracting more attention than Otto, he loses his bearings. He feels cheated by people who don't apply the same scientific rigor. The film is an ode to the importance of past generations, their collaboration and their similarity to those who follow them.
