Teen award show with live music, celebrities and fun.

Boogie Prisen 2008, a follow-up to the Grand Danois show of the previous year, was broadcast live from Stærekassen theatre in Copenhagen on April 12. Hosted by Signe Lindkvist, the show featured live performances by Danish pop artists including Infernal, Dúné and X Factor winner Martin, and appearances by Thomas Blachman, Anders Matthesen and TV puppets Lotte and Ali. Reimer Bo Christensen and Christiane Schaumburg-Müller competed on predictions of the winners, Søren Bregendal and Benjamin Lorentzen won Best Kiss and celebrated with a kiss, and "nice" was named Word of the Year. A total of ten awards was presented, including a Respect award for anti-knife website Knivfri.dk.—Peter Brandt Nielsen
