Tyll Ulenspiegel's adventures fighting the Spanish lead by the duke of Alba.

The film is based on the novel "The Stories of Tyll Ulenspiegel and Lamme Goedzak" by Charles de Coster. When Tyll's father is sentenced to death by the Spanish occupants he decides to organize the Flemish resistance and to fight the usurper till they will leave their country.
