Nightclub owner Duke Randall loses more than $60,000 to a rigged poker game run by gangster Ice Larson. Duke promises to have the money in a week or Larson can have his club, the Paradise Garde3ns. While heading home, Duke gets into an accident caused by heiress Vicki Morrison, and he's knocked unconscious. Vicki takes him home and takes care of him until he awakens. Duke explains his predicament to Vicki and her feisty uncle William, who is worried Duke will sue them because of the accident. On top of that, Duke later gets into a fight with Larson and his gang, who then plan to rob Vicki of all her diamond jewelry.
