When it is officially announced that the local school in Blokhavn is to be closed, Ali and his five best friends embark on an impossible rescue operation.

Ali and his five best friends live in the Blokhavn ghetto area. They are in the 8th grade at the local school, which has been declared the worst school in Denmark. Ali hates everything about school except for three things: her friends, Yasmina from the parallel class and the teacher Gertrud. When one day it is announced that the school will close, Ali realizes that he risks losing everything: He could end up at a different school than his friends and Yasmina. Ali therefore decides to save the school and persuades his friends to help him. The friends must now stick together, but their impossible rescue operation unfortunately goes far from planned.—Nordiskfilm
