300 years ago we burned both incest victims and perpetrators on a bonfire in Sweden. It was not until 1937 that we stopped punishing incest victims. Today, many want the perpetrators to be castrated.
In "Blood shame /Incest - a serious crime" with Annika Dopping the subject incest is being presented calm and objective, despite the fact that what is being discussed is not less explosive and very disturbing. Among the guest we get to meet Sven-Olof Eriksson, 63, and grandfather that has sexually abused his six-year-old granddaughter and admits that he also abused his own daughter when she was a child. Other victims, along with representatives of the judicial bodies are present.—Ulf Kjell Gür
