When an unemployed man buys a Japanese 'luck doll' to improve his fortunes, his life begins to unravel in terrifying ways.

Struggling with unemployment, thirty-something Ryan impulsively buys a lucky Japanese 'Daruma' doll, hoping his fortunes might change. As Ryan begins to talk with 'Mr Lucky', take it to bed and even bring it along to a job interview, his girlfriend Louise grows concerned about his psychological state. But the more she tries to separate him and Mr Lucky, the more horror is unleashed into their home.
